On June 29th, 2017, Enablis Ghana, in partnership with the Margins Group, has officially launched a youth empowerment program to create an opportunity for any youth with a business idea or existing business to be guided and mentored in developing a sustainable and profitable business in the Information Communication Technology (ICT) sector. 

The program, which will be in a competition form, aims to empower and encourage the use of ICT to reduce graduate unemployment, create jobs, and achieve socio-economic impact on Ghanaians. The 2017 Margins Youth Empowerment program is a continuous capacity building program that is formulated purposely to imbibe the culture of entrepreneurship, as well as employability skills among students, graduates and young adults in the ICT sector.

The project will contribute to promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation thereby contributing to a sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, productive employment and decent work for all (MDG 8 & 9). This project has the objectives to bridge the widening gap between industry requirements and academic work attract and encourage and support more girls and bridge the gender gap in ICT 

Charles Sirois, Founder and Chairman of Enablis Entrepreneurial Network, is travelling to Africa from June 6 until June 11, 2014. This trip has taken him to Bamako, Mali and Dakar, Senegal to officialise the launch of two new Enablis branches.

Mali and Senegal are the first two french-speaking countries where Enablis will settle. This visit has allowed the Founder and Chairman of the NGO to introduce Enablis Mali and Enablis Senegal to local authorities, partners and private sector in order to launch the battle against poverty and for employment creation.

The closing ceremony of the Business Plan Competition Training took place on the 7th of February at the Enablis house in Accra, Ghana. The 43 future entrepreneurs who had been shortlisted for the training attended the ceremony. They have until the 21st of February 2014 to submit their business plans. Good luck to all!
