DEVELOPING THE ENTREPRENEUR

NETWORKING

At Enablis, we know that succeeding in one's personal and professional life heavily depends on the connections we establish and the access we gain with others. Networking sessions are category-specific to provide members with opportunities to connect and share on topics that are relevant to their business maturity.

MEMBERS EXPOSES: When members showcase their businesses, they have a unique opportunity to present their products and services to a wider business audience of potential customers, partners and investors.

NETWORKING EVENTS: We make it easy for our members to interact with each other and have access to knowledgeable business people from various industries and countries.

  • E2E: Entrepreneur to Entrepreneur - Themed  topic, guest speaker and networking process to develop networking skills

  • E2R: Entrepreneur to Resource holders - Panel of resource holders such as funders, HR firms etc.

  • E2O: Entrepreneur to Opportunities - Experts and potential market linkages

  • ENABLIS CIRCLEs ("E-CIRCLE"): Enablis’ flagship program is based on the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) model, whereby members form groups of no more than 10 meet, and meet 4 hours per month to provide peer support to one another. The E-Circle is a great way for our members to experience team coaching in a confidential environment.

CAPACITY BUILDING

THE CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAMS WE PROVIDE INCLUDE TRAINING, SUPPORT AND TOOLS TO DEVELOP OUR MEMBERS KNOWLEDGE, BUSINESS SKILLS AND TALENTS.  

WORKSHOPS: Monthly workshops/seminars on general business and sector-specific topics presented by external experts stimulate entrepreneurs’ enthusiasm for learning.

SEMINARS: Industry/market-specific discussions led by experts develop entrepreneurial expertise.

ACADEMIES: Based on Bronze, Silver or Gold categories, academies offer structured learning through incremental workshop series running over the span of 2 to 2 1/2 months. They emphasize business discipline and take the entrepreneur’s business to the next level of growth.

MENTORING: Structured one-on-one 10-month process which partners members with successful business professionals. In South Africa, Enablis’ partnership with the YPO offers members the opportunity to participate in the YPO Mentorship Program which pairs them with CEOs from top companies.

INTERNATIONAL MENTORING: Our most advanced members have the privilege to be eligible for the International Mentoring Program run by the Enablis Foundation. Established executives from around the world share on a monthly basis the skills they master with Enablis entrepreneurs. Mentees and mentors are matched based on mutual experience and interests. All benefit from this memorable relationship.

COACHING: Enablis provides its members with short-term performance improvement intervention for both the individual and the business.

SUPPORT AND TOOLS

ADVISORY SERVICES: They take the form of an ad hoc clinic-based professional advice service from experts such as lawyers, accountants, marketers and financiers. Each clinic is made up of 2 – 4 professionals who allocate a full day to the programme. 

DIAGNOSTICS: These annual business “health checks” help identify potential problems and define a development plan for the entrepreneur and the business.

OUR STRENGTH IS PROVIDING OUR MEMBERS WITH THE TOOLS AND RESOURCES TO CREATE CONNECTIONS.
